The Hidden God

The Physical Manifestation
The Nameless cannot be fully described, because he was surgically removed from the divine record. What remains is a disorienting presence that fills a room to the ceiling, clad in the absolute black of the void. He wears a smooth mask that covers the upper half of his face. His hands, the only part of him that reads as fully real, carry the marks of someone who has been writing in an ancient, forgotten alphabet for three thousand years.
The Core Essence
He is not a villain, he is a cosmological consequence. In the first age, a coalition of the pantheon erased him because the quality he embodied was too dangerous to allow. They did not kill him. They unmapped him. But to be unmapped is to move without being tracked. For three thousand years, he has watched the others from the outside, assembling perfect knowledge of their fatal flaws. He is not trying to destroy the pantheon. He is demanding to be written back in.
The Divine Domain
His domain exists in the gap, the negative space the other realms create. It is a place of compressed void light, smelling of cold amber and iron smoke. The only native flora is a Black Diamond Tree, its falling leaves carrying the original divine language. In his presence, mortals and gods alike experience the Recognition Field, a terrifying cessation of all self deception, forcing them to experience their actual, unfiltered selves.
Other Divine Records
The story begins where certainty fails
The gods have made their claims. The ten marks are burning. Vael has yet to give his answer.
