Goddess of Avaritia

The Physical Manifestation
Morriven looks like wealth that has learned to move. She carries the density of something compressed and expensive, her skin a warm bronze olive that makes the stolen emeralds she wears look like they have finally come home. Her dark hair is threaded with gold wire that grows directly from the strands, a sign that accumulation has become part of her biology. Her long fingered hands touch everything with the professional focus of a jeweller examining a stone for inclusions. When she touches you, you feel exactly what you are worth.
The Core Essence
She is not cruel. She is not malicious. She takes because wanting and having are the two poles of her existence, and the distance between them is the only space where she fully feels alive. Her fatal flaw is her absolute incapability of satiety. The moment something is hers, truly, irreversibly hers, the wanting transfers. She collects objects, secrets, and lovers to construct a sufficiency from the outside in, terrified that if she ever stops acquiring, she will be left alone with her own emptiness.
The Divine Domain
Her domain is an endless, Gothic labyrinth of treasure halls and sealed chambers that expand whenever new acquisitions require it. It smells of aged leather, cold metal, and dark oud. The light is the directional illumination of a gallery designed to present objects at their most extraordinary. Through her Appraisal Field, mortals in her presence become acutely, uncomfortably aware of their own value, while her active power, The Claiming, allows her to extend divine ownership over objects, places, and even memories.

The story begins where certainty fails
The gods have made their claims. The ten marks are burning. Vael has yet to give his answer.
