God of Acedia

The Physical Manifestation
Vaelthorn is arrestingly, almost insultingly beautiful for someone who has stopped caring. He carries himself with the specific looseness of a body that has evaluated the effort required for posture and found the benefit to cost ratio insufficient. His skin has the clean pallor of a being for whom warmth has simply stopped arriving. His eyes, the pale, milky grey of his moonstone, observe everything with perfect, unblinking attention, and feel absolutely nothing in response.
The Core Essence
Acedia is not laziness or depression. It is the divine state of having considered the full architecture of existence and arrived at the calm, reasoned conclusion that the investment is not justified by the return. Vaelthorn's fatal flaw is that his logic is flawless, yet fundamentally broken by the single variable he cannot account for, the specific quality of being alive in a moment of genuine feeling. He knows this variable exists. He simply refuses to incorporate it into his calculations.
The Divine Domain
The Grey Meridian is a realm of perpetual dusk, where the floor is a shallow, perfectly still mirror of water. There is no wind. The architecture is slowly, beautifully decaying. The mortals who stay here are called The Stilled, people who arrived at the terminal point of exhaustion and found healing in a god who demands absolutely nothing from them. Through his power of Withdrawal, Vaelthorn does not attack, he simply removes the ambient divine energy holding a system together, and watches it quietly stop.
Other Divine Records
The story begins where certainty fails
The gods have made their claims. The ten marks are burning. Vael has yet to give his answer.
